Amos Newsome Must Go!

Amos Newsome must go! He is nothing more than a common ‘crook and con’. Why the City of Dothan would let a man sit on a city council knowing he is there because of fraudulent votes is beyond me. And to top it all off, he’s drawing a salary from the taxpayers!!! If the City of Dothan allows Newsome to remain on the council, they ought to pay a salary to every inmate incarcerated in the Dothan City Jail. What’s the difference between them and Newsome? With all due respect to ‘political correctness’; right is right and wrong is wrong.



What kind of weak leadership do we have in Dothan when absolutely no one on the City Council, nor the Mayor, will stand up and take the necessary action to put Newsome out. The candidate he stole the election from should be sworn in immediately. The majority have spoken: 95% of the individuals’ poled say Newsome should go. Yet he sits there like he actually belongs and worse than that, he gets paid.



Politics in America (and Alabama) has really gotten to be a joke over the past few decades. Ethics, morals and Christian leadership seem to be a thing of the past in this country and ALABAMA. Everyone can agree that things have never been as bad as they are in this world today.



We have a governor in Montgomery that wants to pass ‘his judgment’ on many others, yet when it comes to his nasty laundry, it’s a “private matter”.



I don’t even want to get started on our wonderful ‘Washington’ politicians… from the top down, they all need to go. This administration has succeeded in breaking this country financially, dividing this country racially, weakening this country militarily (worldwide), supporting sins to become law, handcuffing law enforcement (where they can’t do their job without fear of retaliation) and financially supporting all those from here and abroad who are just to dang sorry to work, etc.



I know its not just Dothan or Alabama. The entire country seems to be on a one-way path to hell … and when God does finally turn his back on the ‘good ol USA’; we’ll deserve what we get!



I’ve enjoyed a wonderful life, both personally and professionally, but I sincerely fear what the future holds for our children and grandchildren.



What kind of example does it set when we allow anyone, Newsome or otherwise, to hold a public office they fraudulently obtained. Newsome should be man enough to resign or the City of Dothan should have the ‘testicular fortitude’ to remove him.
