Angel of Hope Candleight Vigil On Tuesday Evening

DOTHAN:     This Tuesday evening, December 6 at 7 PM, there is a Candleight Vigil being held at Westgate Park at the Angel of Hope.  

As you enter Westgate Park from Westgate Parkway, turn to the right and directly behind the Library you will see the Angel of Hope monument.

This monument was erected in a record amount of time in memory of all children who have lost their lives. It is a place of peacefulness and calmness, but where you also hear and see children playing. It is a place to come reflect on life and the loved one which was lost to death.

Since the Angel of Hope was dedicated there has been a lot of people come by and reflect. Behind the monument is Miracle Park. A place where Melinda McClendon worked with other groups to build a ball field and play ground for special children to play.
