Annual Special Needs Fishing Trip is on Friday

Every year thanks to Joe Phillips; the area special need children get the opportunity to come together and enjoy a day of fun and fishing. This has become an annual event and the kids look forward to it every year. This year it will be held on this Friday.  Mr. Joe furnishes or gets donated everything they need, fishing poles, bait, food and drink. Off duty Houston County Deputies volunteer their time to go help the kids bait hooks, and pull in their big catch. Other deputies help with the cooking.

It is truly a wonderful experience to watch and help these wonderful kids to be able to enjoy a day of fishing.
