Dothan: Early this morning a little after 4:00 am Dothan Police responded to a reported armed robbery at the Chevron Station located on the Circle at 3rd ave. The suspect was described as a black male in his early 30's wearing a black hoodie and black jeans with a white bandanna over his face armed with a handgun. The suspect got away with an undetermined amount of money, several cartons of cigarettes and possibly a wallet.


If anyone in the area around that time saw anything or knows anything about this robbery is encouraged to call the Dothan Police Department at 615-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 793-7000.

At 4:06 a.m. this morning, the Dothan Police Department responded to an armed robbery at 1804 Ross Clark Circle. Upon arrival, police learned the incident was a robbery of a person and of a business. The first victim was an adult male who was sitting outside of the business and was approached by an armed suspect who demanded the victim’s wallet.  He then ordered the victim inside the business and approached the cashier pointing the gun at him demanding money. The suspect received cash and merchandise after which he ordered both victims into the cooler and fled the scene running south. The victim’s were able to exit the cooler without injury and call 911.


 


The suspect was described as black male possibly early twenties, 5’7 tall, weighing 150 pounds wearing a solid black hooded sweater, dark pants and a white t-shirt pulled up over his face. The suspect was carrying a black semi-automatic handgun. Police are asking anyone with information about the case or identity of the suspect to call the Dothan Police Department or CrimeStoppers 334-793-7000.
