Another Escambia County Crash Claims Another Life

--A single-vehicle crash Friday afternoon claimed the life of a Brewton man. The crash occurred at 2:45 p.m. on County Road 55 seven miles south of East Brewton. Kenneth Roy Thomas, 61, was driving a 1996 Chevrolet Silverado when he lost control, ran off the road, and struck a tree. Thomas, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other information is available at this time as troopers continue to investigate.
