GENEVA COUNTY: Multiple Fire units from responded to a report of a structure fire at 577 North County 49 in Malvern. The first unit on scene advised this would be a working fire. Geneva County Sheriff’s Office responded along with two ambulances from Slocomb. It's not known just how bad the fire is at this time.

Firefighters were able to contain this to the kitchen area only. The fire was quickly knocked down and firefighters are venting the smoke.
