There is a threat for severe weather this weekend during Toadlick. Additional severe weather could also occur next week.
Main hazards: Damaging wind gusts and large hail.
Secondary hazards: Isolated tornadoes are also possible if supercells develop.
Main impacts: Damage to trees and power lines.
The map below show the forcast for Saturday.
Severe Storms also Possible on Tuesday
While there remains considerable spread in the model solutions, there is at least some chance that
ingredients could come together once again for another round of severe weather, and possibly flooding,
during the first half of the work week. At this time, Tuesday looks like the primary threat day, but that could
change. It also appears that once this system clears east, the threat for severe weather will be over for the
remainder of the week.
