DOTHAN: Late this afternoon the running from apprehension for Erika Myhand ended.
Myhand was s bail jump on misdemeanors charges from Dothan Municipal Court. Over the past week I personally had been communicating with her on her turning herself in.
She wanted to know if I would get her back out of jail. My response was yes unless I have to look for you. Well she kept avoiding me.
Myhand found out this afternoon that I was looking for her. She again text me and then stopped.
Through investigation and sources we tracked her to the 1000 block of North Alice Street. She was asleep on the couch when Larry and I located her.
When I asked Myhand why she kept lying to me she told me that another female bondsman told her I was lying to her and was not going to get her back out.
My response, that bondsman is a liar. As I told her, if you had turned yourself in that I would have gotten her back out. But because I had to track her, no, I was not going to get her back out. And that is what I said from the beginning.
And to listen to a competitor bondsman, the female she told me is an habitual liar.
Anyway Erika Myhand was turned over to Dothan Police. Thanks to Larry Morris and Ricky Beck for the help.
