ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS APPREHENDED

On January 16, 2016 the Bonifay Police Department responded to a local medical care facility in reference to a report of an armed robbery. The victim recounted the events that led up to the armed robbery, which began by being followed by the suspects to his place of employment from Jackson County. An independent witness corroborated the events as described by the victim. A BOLO was issued for the suspects and suspect vehicle with special attention to the Graceville and Jackson County area. The Graceville Police Department located and apprehended the suspects within minutes of receiving the BOLO. The suspects were transported to the Jackson County Jail to await first appearance and extradition back to Holmes County. The suspects are identified as DEMARCUS ELONTRAE STALEY, a black male, age 20 of Cottondale, FL and REGINALD ALPHONSO WILLIAMS JR., a black male, age 20 of Graceville, FL. Both have been charged with armed robbery and armed trespass.
Chief Chris Wells stated that he greatly appreciates the assistance rendered by the Graceville Police Department in locating the suspects in such a timely manner. Wells stated, “I greatly appreciate the manpower and assistance provided by the Graceville Police Department in this investigation. We have to work together to get the job done and this case is a good example of cooperation among our agencies.”
