UDERDALE COUNTY, MS - A man has been arrested who authorities believe could be connected to the disappearance of an Alabama woman in Lauderdale county.
The Sheriff's Department, there, says it executed a search warrant of John Poisso's home on Old Wire Road, Thursday evening, after receiving information relating to the disappearance of 26-year-old Rebecca Paulk.
Paulk of Demopolis, Alabama went missing September 7 around 7 p.m.
Her mother, Janet Henderson, said she had a report that Rebecca was seen at a business in Meridian Sept. 8.
The next day Rebecca's car was found abandoned in a ditch in Whynot in Lauderdale County, MS.
The Henderson family was offering a $5,000 reward for information that lead to Rebecca being found.
Lauderdale Sheriff Billy Sollie says they arrested Poisso on several misdemeanor charges and brought him in for questioning.
