Ashford Police Makes Arrest

The Ashford Police Department received a complaint that a business in Dothan had been the victim of several stolen checks.
Investigation revealed that a business in Dothan had several checks stolen from their business. The checks had been written to the business from customers serviced by the company. Investigation revealed that the checks had been cashed at a local business in Ashford. Bostic was identified as the offender who signed and cashed the checks.
On July 01, 2014 Ashford Police was able to secure warrants charging Bostic with 5 counts of Theft by Deception 2nd, a Class C Felony and one count of Theft by Deception 3rd, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Denise Marie Bostic, a white female age 31 with a last known address of Webb, AL is being held in Henry County Jail on charges for their jurisdiction. When released from Henry County, Bostic will be transported to the Houston County jail at a later date where she will be charged with the above stated charges.
