Assault In Samson

At around 11:10 P.M. last night, Samson Police were dispatched to an assault at 108 North Broad Street that had already ocurred. The suspect fled the scene before Samson Police arrivedon scene. The victim did have facial injuries, possible broken jaw. Samson Volunteer Rescue Squad was paged out to respond to the scene. Samson Rescue did transport the victim to Wiregrass Medical Center in Geneva, non emergency. Samson Police immediately put out a BOLO for the suspects vehicle. Samson Police notified Kinston Police Officers. The truck was not found. Samson Police Officers Jimmy Hill, Chad Green, Reserve Officer Bill Owens, and Reserve Officer Paul Thurston responded to the scene.
