Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange will run for the Senate to succeed Jeff Sessions, according to reports.
Strange told the Weekly Standard he is not seeking to be be appointed to fill the Senate vacancy created by Sessions, president-elect Donald Trump's pick for U.S. Attorney General. He will, however, run in the midterm special election that will likely be held in 2018. If Gov. Robert Bentley appointed him to replace Sessions, however, Strange said he would accept the post.
And I have a great idea....
Appoint Luther now. Get him gone from Alabama. He will fit nice with the slime already in WASHINGTON. Should fit in nice because he is just like them now.
Now I would make a interesting pick for Alabama Attorney General. He is a lawyer, plain spoken, served as a Judge before, very wealthy and does not need the money, and will clean house.
Appoint Abbeville's Jimmy Rane. He knows business, and Inwould expect he would clean house and turn the Attornet General Office into a honest outfit.
And Luther would fit right in when he arrived in Washington.
Bentley, do it tomorrow.
