COFFEE COUNTY: Today has been a blast at BAMAJAM 2012. We have not done much but hung out.
Usually I am up at 6 AM. This morning I slept until 10:30 AM. I was woke up by Mrs. Brenda as she was talking to the septic people about the dumping of the holding tanks of the RV’s. As Brenda’s voice talking outside the RV woke me up I looked at my phone which was on vibrate. I had missed calls from Ozark about an 11 AM press conference. I tore out to Ozark for the press conference concerning the Officer involved shooting.
When I returned to BAMAJAM 2012 I had missed a lot of excitement. Some of the crew I was with went to the BAMAJAM FARMS water Park. It was awesome. Josh, Allison, Justin and Tara described the water park as awesome and exciting. A great clean facility, great food and entertainment. Sites that were awesome!!!!
The water park brainchild of Ronnie Gilley was for Dothan’s Country Crossings. But thanks to the Alabama Legislature and THANKFULLY we can call him “Former” Alabama Governor Bob Riley, Dothan – Houston County has missed out on these opportunities. And now Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange, a Bob Riley clone, is doing what he can do to further Bob Riley’s agenda.
BAMAJAM 2012 is a lot of fun. While Ronnie Gilley is involved in BAMAJAM FARMS and not BAMAJAM, the event was his brainchild. A brainchild that got derailed because of greedy politicians and politics. All of those involved all ought to be kicked out of office with a size 15 shoe.
All of the people involved, thousands from all ages, have enjoyed BAMAJAM 2012. Webster and Associates has handled the media exposure, they have done a great job. I do not know all of the names of BAMAJAM 2012 event managers, but you have put one a three day show that many have enjoyed.
Mr. Scott Palmer and the group of STRAIGHTLINE Parking from Dothan have done a great job in handling the parking. Some hiccups the first night because of the rain. But these guys have done a marvelous job in handling the thousands of cars that have come in for the event.
All in all…this year has been great. Come out and enjoy, there is still time for a great time of entertainment.
But, next year come and camp. An awesome time of family, grilling and a good time.
Last night Josh Brannon and Justin Gibson cooked us hamburgers. Tonight pork chops. Pepsi Cola has invited me to a shrimp boil.
What I have missed is, Boyd Clark with DSI cooks some mean BBQ. I did not get an invite and did not get to eat the BBQ. I missed that because that young man can cook some great BBQ rib, pork and chicken. Either he did not cook or he don’t like me no more!!!
Coffee County Sheriff, Enterprise Police Chief, Enterprise Fire Chief, ABC Board and all involved have done a great job. The grounds were safe and fun.
RONNIE GILLEY
Many have compliments, many have insults. But I have never met a man of vision that can get things accomplished.
Ronnie Gilley and Mark Sheldon have done fantastic designs and making those designs a reality. Ronnie got messed up dealing with a lot of politicians. And I would hate to know my future depended on a bunch of lying, back stabbing elected officials in Montgomery.
A lot has transpired over the last several years. A lot of ego infested politicians at the direction of “FORMER” Alabama Governor Bob Riley has killed a lot of positive entertainment for this area of the state.
And Riley is a “FORMER” politician that we will pay the rest of his life.
THANKS
I do not know the breakdown and separation of powers for BAMAJAM 2012 and BAMAJAM FARMS.
One thing I know, this was a vision of Ronnie Gilley from the beginning. And for three years my family and friends have enjoyed it and it is something we look forward to each year.
Politics and bottom feeding suckers in Montgomery and Washington have almost destroyed it!!!
