Barn Fire In New Brockton Fire Marshal Called

New Brockton, AL: New Brockton Volunteer Firefighters and Elba Volunteer Fire Firefighters were up all night fighting a large barn fire while we were all asleep. Reports are the fire was fully involved when New Brockton Firefighters arrived. New Brockton Fire immediately advised Communications to dispatch Elba Fire as Mutual Aid. The barn was located on Alabama State Highway 87 just North of Alabama State Highway 134. The barn was a total loss. New Brockton Fire has requested an Alabama State Fire Marshal to respond to the scene. Alabama Fire Marshal Jeff Lowery is enroute to the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the barn fire.
