Basketball season is now open for registration

The 2016/2017 Basketball season is now open for registration. Please go to www.ashfordrec.org to sign your child up for our recreation basketball program. This program is open to all boys and girls ages 5-14. Depending on the total number to sign up, ages 5-8 will be boys and girls team together, ages 9-14 will have all boys team(s) and all girls team(s). Cost per child is $55. Dates have not been determined yet. At this time we are looking at starting 1st practices around November 28 (after Thanksgiving) with games starting January 2nd. These dates may be modified. All games will be held in the Ashford Elem. School Gym. Try out date will be announced at later date. You do not have to attend AES to play recreation basketball. Also, this year girls from Dothan, and surrounding area recreation programs that do not offer an all-girls league are eligible to play in Ashford!
