Birmingham Man Charged with First degree Receiving Stolen Property

On September 16, 2014 the Dothan Police Department responded to the 3300 block of South Oates Street in reference to a suspicious vehicle call.
Officers were advised that the vehicle had been parked at that location for several hours. Upon their arrival, the officer’s found Harold Hall inside. A check of the vehicle’s registration was conducted and the officer’s were informed that the vehicle was reported stolen from Clewiston, Florida.
Investigators say it’s unknown how Hall came to possess the vehicle, but he was taken into custody and charged with one count of receiving stolen property.
Harold Tony Hall, black male, 60 years of age, of Birmingham, Alabama was arrested and charged with first degree Receiving Stolen Property. A bond amount has been set at $15,000.00.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
