Birmingham Police Investigating Two Separate Carjackings Monday Night

Two people in different parts of Birmingham had their cars stolen at gunpoint Monday night.
At about 11 p.m., police responded to Wells Fargo at 9300 Parkway East.
Police said a man got out of his silver Infinity to use the ATM. The victim reported that a man jumped in the car, pulled a gun on him then drove off. The victim was not injured.
No description of the suspect was available.
Earlier that night, closer to 7 p.m., another car was stolen on Idlewild Circle.
Police said three black males stole a red Chevrolet Camaro at gunpoint.
One of the suspects reportedly fired shots into the air but didn't hit anyone.
