Blakely Georgia Was Arrested and Charged with First Degree Robbery

On April 24, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to a strong armed robbery at Wal-Mart, 4310 Montgomery Highway. Upon arrival, members of loss prevention told police they observed a black male conceal over four hundred dollars worth of merchandise and leave the store without paying for the items. As the suspect exited the store, loss prevention employee’s approached him and identified themselves at which time the suspect pulled a knife and threatened them. Loss prevention members stepped away from the suspect and he fled. On May 4, 2012 the suspect entered Wal-Mart and attempted to return items but was recognized by an alert employee. Police responded quickly and took the suspect into custody.  

 

 

·        Curtis Mosley, black male, 24 years of age, of Blakely, Georgia was arrested and charged with First Degree Robbery with a $175,000 bond.
