Blount County Sheriff Raids Bingo Hall

The Blount County Sheriff has raided a bingo hall in his county last night. Blount County has no regulations in place for electronic bingo.

BLOUNT COUNTY:    Riley appointee Blount County Sheriff Lloyd Arrington raids bingo hall in Blount County.

Arrington was appointed last year by Alabama Governor Bob Riley to the post of Blount County Sheriff. Arrington was a retired agent of the Alabama Bureau of Investigation who was assigned to the Dothan post for years.

This morning Arrington is reported to have raided a 20 x 60 bingo parlor in Blount County. Arrington seized seven machines and seized $ 4,600.00 in cash.
