Boar Causes Fatal Crash in Holmes County

Holmes County, Florida: Last night, at around 8:50 p.m., Holmes County Emergency Units along with Florida Highway Patrol were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on County Highway 181. A 1993 Toyota pickup truck was traveling south on County Road 181, when the vehicle collided with a boar. After colliding with the boar, the vehicle then went off the roadway and collided with two trees. The driver of the vehicle, David Earl Bruner, 60, of Bonifay, Florida, was pronounced deceased by Holmes County EMS. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
