Boligee Alabama Man Dies after being Struck by a Vehicle

TUSCALOOSA POST – A single-vehicle crash at approximately 8:05 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, claimed the life of a Boligee man. Freddie L. Newell, 46, was killed as he walked along Alabama 39 10 miles west of Boligee. Alabama State Troopers say a vehicle struck the man and then left the scene.  Nothing further is available as Troopers continue to investigate.
