Bond Reduction Hearing Before Judge Lewis

HOUSTON COUNTY: This morning Houston County Benjamin Lewis heard testimony on a case of robbery and autho theft.
Testimony given by Dothan Police Officer/Investigator Moore was given. The four suspects were alleged to be involved in crimes in Geneva County. There were discussion among the four to randomly rob several people and possibly shoot someone.
The suspects are alleged to have committed a robbery on Tate Drive on Saturday. Then the suspects went to Ashland Drive where they got the homeowner to come outside. The suspects robbed the man taking cell phones and a car.
The car was taken to Lena Street where one of the four pouree gas on the vehicle and set it on fire.
District Attorney Doug Valeska opposed bond reduction, saying the suspect was a danger to the community.
The Dothan Officer Moore stated that all four suspects had one time or another held the gun.
The defendant, Jarvis Williams, is a juvenile but charged as an adult.
Judge Lewis took the case under advisement.
