Bonifay Elementary School Teacher Arrested For Sex With A Minor

HOLMES COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Update: 11/19/2015 5:30p


A Bonifay Elementary school teacher has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a minor. The Holmes County Sheriff's Office arrested Anna Whitaker Wednesday. She's been released on $9,000 bond. No word on what day the alleged sexual relationship happened but law enforcement was made aware of the incident on Monday. Holmes County parents say they're surprised by the incident. We reached out to the Holmes School district officials and they say due to legal reasons, they were not available to comment but did send us a statement that reads:


"It's not ethical to comment on going investigation concerning their employees. Every decision made by the Holmes County School Board focuses on ensuring the safety security and best possible learning environment for all students."
