Boy Scouts Work on Welding Merit Badges with Wallace Community College - Dothan

Dothan, Ala. – Approximately 20 area Boy Scouts are working to achieve a Welding Merit Badge during a weeklong workshop given by Wallace Community College – Dothan’s Welding Technology program.
Welding instructor Dewey Lee will be assisting Boy Scouts from Camp ALAFLO in the College’s Mobile Welding Unit on Thursday, June 16, at 9:45 a.m. The Mobile Welding Unit will be located at the College’s Center for Economic and Workforce Development on Montgomery Highway in Dothan.
Airgas and Lincoln Electric have both donated materials for the Merit Badge workshops, including welding helmets, jackets, and safety equipment.
