BREAKING NEWS: Active shooter inside Inglenook UPS Customer Center

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -


There is an active shooter inside the UPS Customer Center in the Inglenook community in north Birmingham, according to police.


The UPS Customer Center is in the 4600 block of Inglenook Lane off of East Lake Boulevard near the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. 


Birmingham police Lt. Sean Edwards confirms there is an active shooter inside the facility. Lt. Edwards says "we believe there are victims."


Unconfirmed reports say the suspected shooter was wearing a UPS uniform.
