UPDATED at 10:10 PM: Body Located in Wicksburg - Investigation is On-Going

NOTE: We have been following this story all afternoon, but were asked by law enforcement to hold off on posting it until we got the go ahead from them. This is what everyone has been calling us about.

Today, Oct. 24, agents with the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) and Alabama State Troopers, along with local law enforcement,  assisted in the search for a missing person. After receiving information on the person’s location, SBI agents obtained search warrants for property off  U.S. 84 in western Houston County. A body soon was discovered with assistance from the Southwest Panhandle Search and Rescue cadaver dogs. Nothing further is available as the investigation continues.

We understand that the suspect or suspects have been taken into custody in conection with the female body found earier today. We do NOT have anymore information at this time due to the investigation is still on-ongoing. We will update as more information is released.
