DALE COUNTY: Moments ago Dale County Sheriff Deputies apprehend 4 robbery suspects.
At about 9:50 Ozark - Dale County 911 dispatched an armed robbery at Dollar General in Newton. The suspect description was 3 black males with bandannas and armed.
With a department of about 19, Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson and Chief Deputy Tim McDonald have the department structured for rapid deployment and response, with active patrols when needed. YOU guess when that is!!!
An observant and alert Dale County Sheriff Deputy stopped the suspect vehicle with 4 suspects. The deputy not wanting to be a hero but be safe and go home waited on back up. Before the back up the suspects fled on foot.
Then Dale County Sheriff deputies stopped a suspect vehicle on Highway 84 and County 31 and apprehended 4 suspects a short time later.
Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson and Dale County Sheriff Deputies are investigating.

Assisting is Daleville Police and Alabama State Troopers.;
Dale County 31 is east of Daleville.
