WAAO: WAAO is reporting on their Facebook page that the Covington County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a death on Bass Bridge Road in the Carolina Community. You can view WAAO's Facebook page on Facebook. Here is what WAAO is reporting:

 

WAAO's Facebook Status: Covington County Sheriff Dennis Meeks tells WAAO they received a 911 call around 10am this morning regarding a shooting at a residence on Bass Bridge Rd (off Moore Rd. extension and Andy Rd. In the Carolina Community). When they arrived, they located a male subject suffering from a gunshot wound. Coroner Norman Hobson is on scene working with CCSO investigators at this time. They are working this scene as a homicide BUT will not officially label it a murder. They will only call it a death investigation. We expect a full press release from CCSO after the investigation is complete.
