Breaking News: DPD Involved in Another Foot Pursuit.

Dothan Police were involved in a short foot pursuit that began on Fountain Street and ended on Headland Ave in the 500 block. Reports are Police responded to a call of a black male that was being disorderly and possibly was armed with a handgun. When the first of several officers arrived on Fountain Street the suspect got disorderly again and then ran from police.  multiple units swarmed the area in the 500 block of Headland Ave. and when officers went to apprehend the suspect he tried to fight again and officers had to taze the suspect in order to get him into custody. No police officers were injured in the incident.
