Updated 12:30PM- Early Morning Crash Claims a Life

Lovetown: This morning just after midnight units from Cottonwood Fire, Pilcher's Ambulance and Houston County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a motorcycle vs pole on Cottonwood Road just South of Union Hill Road. Report are the driver wasn't moving. The driver had died as a result of his injuries from the crash.

Name and Photos are being with held pending the next of kin.

The driver has been Identified as 38 year old Thomas Rash of Cottonwood. The cause of the crash appears Rash had ran off the road in a curve and struck a light pole. Speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
