Units from the Dale County Sheriff's Office, Ozark Police, Ozark EMS and Ozark Fire are on the scene of a motorcycle crash on Dale County 20. One person is confirmed dead in the crash. Dale County Coroner is on scene and the crash is being investigated by the Alabama State Troopers.

Dale County -- A single-vehicle crash this morning in Dale County claimed the life of an Ozark man. The crash occurred at 10:20 a.m. on Dale County 20, five miles south of Ozark. John Andrew Everett, 22, was killed when the 2012 Suzuki motorcycle he was driving  east ran off the road and struck a culvert.  Everett was pronounced dead at the scene by Dale County Coroner Woody Hilboldt.  Although circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation, Alabama State Troopers say speed was a factor.
