Dothan Police are on the scene of a reported fire arm assault in the paring lot of Sanherls Grocery on third ave. Reports are the victim has a arm injuried. Police are beginning their investigation. Sgt, Jason Adins and CSI Jon Thomas are on the scene.. Officer's and Deputies are checing a house on Pearl Street for a possible suspect. So far it hasn't lead to anything.

We are currently investigating a firearm assault which occurred at 1152 Third Avenue approximately one, to two hours ago. Preliminary reports are a verbal dispute between two male individuals turned violent when one of the subjects produced a gun and fired multiple shots at the other. The suspect is believed to have fled the scene in a burgundy S.U.V and the victim was transported to the hospital with one reported gunshot wound. His condition is unknown at this time.
