Opp, AL: Opp Fire Department is currently on scene of a fire at 29887 U.S. Hwy 84. Opp Fire has requested for mutual aid assistance from Elba Fire and Union Grove Fire Department. I am enroute and will update when I arrive on scene.

UPDATED: The fire is currently under control. Union Grove and Elba Fire have arrived on scene. U.S. 84 Westbound from the Coffee County side is completely blocked off and no traffic is able to pass through. The fire did cause major damage to the home. Everyone made it outside of the house when the fire started.
