BREAKING NEWS: Power Line Falls on School Bus in Geneva County

Malvern, AL: 34 Central just dispatched a Geneva County Sheriff's Deputy to Hope Lane in Malvern to reports of a power line down on top of a School Bus. The report was there were still children on the bus. A few minutes later, 34 Central advised the same Deputy he could cancel because someone who was on scene pulled the line off of the School Bus. Reports are the bus has left the scene. No one was injured in the incident. A Slocomb Police Officer was the first on the scene. It is believed that the power line is dead. 34 Central has gotten Alabama Power dispatched to the scene anyways to make 100% sure everything is ok. Great job to E-911 Dispatchers and Slocomb Police Officer.
