BREAKING NEWS: Structure Fire Oates Estates On Flynn Road

DOTHAN:   Dothan 911 dispatched fire units to reports of a structure fire at 3055 Flynn Road, Oates Estates Apartments, smoke in kitchen. Dothan 911 instructed the residents to evacuate.

Dothan Fire Engine 6 ( Napier Field Road ) was dispatched at 7:01 PM and on the scene at 7:06 PM. Dothan Fire Sgt. Eben Matthews reported at 7:07 PM to cancel all but one fire engine, the fire is out and all okay. Sgt. Matthews reported that a sprinkler head was going off.

At 7:07 Pm Dothan Fire Engine 9 ( Technology Drive ) arrived on the scene to assist Engine 6. All other fire engines were returned to service and ambulance response was cancelled.
