Multiple Dothan Fire Engines are responding to a report of a structure fire at Structure fire at 400 block of Gwaltney Drive. (House is Monty Irvin's home.) Brandon and I were heading back from lunch when we noticed the heavy smoke and when we turned the corner we found the home well involved with heavy fire visible. Battalion 1 has command. Dothan Police are responding along with an ambulance. The road is closed due to supply line blocking the road. Fire Command has asked for for another  engine to respond to the scene.

The structure fire of this home is under investigation by several agencies, to include federal agencies.

The house, while reports are no one lived in the house, was that of Monte Irvin. UNCONFIRMED reports are there are questions that there was no insurance on the house.

Irvin was recently convicted in United States Federal Court and is in federal custody. According to sources Irvin was possibly connected with Tim Turner, the sovereign citizen recently arrested by Federal Authorities.

Because of the sovereign citizen connections, recent arrest of Turner, this fire has brought multiple federal agencies to Dothan for the investigation into this fire.

Reports are Turner was the President of some organization of the Sovereign Citizens. Turner is in Federal Custody foloowing his recent arrest.

We do not know all of the details of the Turner case. However, at this time the fire is HOT!
