UPDATED @ 8:34 PM
The call was dispatched as a serious/critical accident with the female in the SUV that was in ditch unconscious. Two ambulances were dispatched along with Dothan Fire Engine 8 ( Highlands ), Truck 3 ( Westgate ) and Batallion 2 ( Johnny Givens ). Also responding to the scene was Pilcher's Ambulance and Dothan Police.
The accident location was located at the intersection of Bob Hall Road and Fortner Street. When the emergency units arrived the injuries were not as serious as first reported. One was transported by Pilcher's Ambulance to Flowers Hospital.
Taylor Volunteer Fire was also dispatched because Fortner Street goes in and out of the city limits of Dothan about 5 times. With multiple callers and specific locations the call was showing inside Dothan City Limits and outside Dothan City Limits. Outside Dothan City limits won so Alabama State Troopers are investigating the accident.
All of Fortner Street was closed for a period of time.
