AUBURN, AL- WSFA 12 News has confirmed emergency crews are on the scene of an pedestrian-involved accident in Auburn.
Auburn Police Chief Tommy Dawson says two people were hit by a vehicle at Toomers Corner around 9:30 p.m.. The extent of the injuries are unknown. One of the victims is being transported by helicopter to an area hospital.
At this point, Police say alcohol does not seem to be a factor.
Police are still on the scene directing traffic in downtown Auburn.
Toomers Corner is located at the intersection of North College Street and West Magnolias Avenue.
