Brewton Man Critically Injured in Okaloosa County Crash

A 1993 Nissan pickup was traveling East on County Road 180. The vehicle then enetered into a sharp curve to the left (North), and drove onto the southern shoulder along eastbound County Road 180. The vehicle then rotated counter clockwise as it continued northeast on the southern shoulder. The passenger side of the vehicle struck three trees, bringing the vehicle to a final rest facing East at the point of impact with the third tree. The passenger of the vehicle, Joseph Adam York, 23, of Brewton, Alabama, was critically injured and was trasnported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. Charges are pending results of a legal blood draw of the driver of the vehicle.
