Brush Fire in Coffee County

Battens, AL: Battens Volunteer Fire Department was just dispatched to a brush fire on Coffee County Rod 641 near the address of 345 Coffee County Road 641. The fire did spread quickly leading Battens Command to request mutual aid from Goodman. Firefighters were having a hard time trying to get to the fire. The fire was put out in a joint effort between Battens Volunteer Fire and Goodman Volunteer Fire.
