Buglary Suspects Arrested in Chipley

Chipley, FL; January 28, 2016) – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of Holmes County Sheriff's Office, has arrested of three men wanted in connection to approximately 20 burglaries in Washington County, over 7 burglariesin Holmes County and burglaries in Enterprise, AL.
While on patrol, a deputy with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office noticed 3 men at the Tharp and Sons Mini Storage facility. Deputies have recently increased patrols in the area due to break-ins and approached the facility to do a routine check.
The male subjects stated they were retrieving items from a storage unit rented by one of the subject’s father. After speaking with the owner of the storage facility, the deputy confirmed no one by that name was renting a unit from the facility. The deputy observed marks on a lock on a storage unit consistent with an attempt to cut it off. When asked if the suspects were in possession of bolt cutters, they stated they were.
During a search of the suspects’ vehicle, the deputy discovered bolt cutters, a master lock that had been cut, weed eater still in box, black sword, kitchen utensil set, tent inside of case, and an Xbox 360 sealed with multiple Xbox 360 games.

Austin Lee Grantham, 22 year old white male of Wausau, FL
• Burglary
• Possession of burglary tools
Chandler Austin Price, 18 year old white male of Wausau, FL
• Burglary
• Possession of burglary tools
Darin Lee Rogers, 26 year old white male of Wausau, FL
• Burglary
• Possession of burglary tools
Additional charges are expected.
