Burglary At Efurd's In Cowarts

COWARTS:    Houston County Sheriff Department responded to a burglary at Efurd's Grocery in Cowarts. When deputies arrived they found forced entry into the business. Upon investigation they found cogarettes had been stolen.

A witness saw suspects flee. Houston County Sheriff Sgt. Reichert called the Sheriff Bloodhounds to the scene to pickup on tracks. They tracked a suspect to where it is believed a vehicle was parked.

Houston County Sheriff Deputy Benton is conducting an investigation into the burglary. Houston County Sheriff Deputy McKinney handled the bloodhound for tracking of the suspect.
