Burglary In Progress Call At Panhandle Convertor

DOTHAN:    Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies responded to a burglary in progress at Panhandle Convertor on North Beverlye Road around 2 PM on Sunday.

Multiple units responded. Two responding Dothan units got trapped by the train and had to turn around and take another route.

The security guards heard some noises in the office and called for Police to respond. Nothng was found.

History

Several years ago Panhandle Convertor was the scene of a murder. The owner of the business was found murdered early one morning.

That murder remain unsolved.
