Haley Kirkland was the apple of Jacob Forrest’s eye. Jacob asked Haley to marry him.

The two then became one.

Then Haley and Jacob had twin girls. 

 Haley was suffering from a rare form of cancer.  To get away Haley went to the beach with her parents and Jacob stayed at home because of work. 

 Jacob was building a wagon for his two children and a trellis for his beautiful wife Haley. For some reason that we’ll never know Jacob was running an errand to Dothan. Speculation is that he was going to get parts to finish building his projects. 

 While traveling north on Hodgesville Road there was a motor vehicle accident that claimEd Jacob’s life. 

 Since Jacob’s untimely death Haley has been experiencing more major medical issues with her cancer. 

 Steve Hardwick is known for cooking cakes to help raise money for people with various needs. 

 Steve has started the project Cake for Haley. 

 At a minimum cost of $35, you can order a delicious poundcake from Steve Hardwick for Haley Forrest and her two beautiful daughters. The purpose is to help offset a lot of costs that Haley has had to encounter as a single mother. 

With parents, in-laws, and a lot of friends help there’s still  a lot of pressure on Haley as a single mother while fighting a dreaded disease.  Haley  has worked very hard to make sure these two beautiful girls have a structured life. 

 Steve Hardwick gives to the community through his cooking of poundcakes.  And if you have ever eaten one of the poundcakes they are very good. 

A goal to raise a minimum of $7500 to help Haley and her children.

The Forrest and Kirkland families are friends of mine and I go to church with them. I was on the scene of the accident the night that Jacob’s life was claimed.

While Jacob and I had never been friends that were in each others houses, we considered each other friends. Jacob and I knew that we had each other’s backs.

I consider Jacob Forest my friend. He was definitely a good guy, and a great husband and a terrific father.

 Haley is an outstanding mom doing her best to give these two children a very normal life. 

Anything you can do on the Cakes for Haley to help raise the needed money is very much appreciated.
