Camper Fire In Abbeville Causes A Large Explosion

ABBEVILLE:   Abbeville Police Communications rolled Abbeville Police, Abbeville Fire and Abbeville Rescue to a camper fire on McSwain Street near Ward Street.

Many people in the quiet peaceful town of Abbeville get out and walk at night. Tonight they heard a loud explosion and saw flames. As the emergency responders were arriving on the scene flames were visible.

The fire was that of a camper which was parked between two houses. Abbeville Fire was quick on the scene and got the fire under control. There was some minimum heat damage to the residences next door.
