Ray Mock, 58 years old, is a retired deputy sheriff with the Geneva County Sheriff’s Office.
From Samson, Alabama, he has been married to Diane Morrow Mock for 36 years. He has four children: Ray Mock II (Pepper), Brittaney Mock Mills, Cole Mock, Cord Mock; and five grandchildren.
Ray has over 30 years of dedicated law enforcement experience, the majority of which was spent serving the citizens of Geneva County. He worked most of his career in a time when a deputy was expected to perform Patrol duties, as well as Criminal Investigations, and Narcotics Investigations, making him well rounded in his knowledge, skills, and abilities to act as the chief law enforcement officer of the county. Throughout his career, he developed and maintained good working relationships with members of surrounding agencies and agencies within Geneva County.
As Geneva County’s Sheriff, Ray will:
Ensure that the Citizens of Geneva County have the hardest working, most ethical and professional Sheriff’s Department possible.
Guarantee crime victims a fighting chance to have justice served and to regain their dignity, property, and/or comfort in their own homes.
Work with all State and Federal agencies, and all agencies within Geneva County and adjoining counties to ensure that all resources available are used to investigate crimes and pursue criminals.
