ALABAMA: Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange when he was a candidate for Attorney General and spoke in Enterprise.
Listen as Strange said "ethical beyond reproach" and when speaking about the Attorney General, Strange said " actions create clouds and you can be attacked for a conflict of interest".
Strange also saidd he would be "here often and face the issues". Strange said that he would "work closel, talk to anybody and listen closely". He even mention where he and I were on the scene of an accident while on the way to Enterprise. He calls me by name.
Yet when I asked for an interview with Strange, a press conference was called and I was never invited. When I called to the attention of his office that I requested an interview "before" his press conference, Luther Strange's office denied a interview.
Strange said the Attorney General had to be ethical beyond reproach. Yet he and Bob Riley met and Riley transferred "millions" of dollars from the BP Oill money to Strange (1) without the incoming Governor, Robert Bentley's knowledge (2) and without the outgoing Attorney General Troy King's knowledge. The money, by their own admission was clearly earmarked for Strange to fight electronic bingo. When the hands were caught in the oil barrel, the money was returned.
Plain and simple...money intended for victims of the BP Oil Spill was stolen from the victims by Riley and Strange to fight bingo. Ethical beyond reproach?
Clouds that Strange mentions. Donations from Indians to his campaign. Has Strange answered that question truthfully and honestly.
And last, the Attorney General says the position ins the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the State. If so, why in 6 days did he never contact the Dale County authorities and offer help? Why did he never come to Dale County when a 5 year old child was held captivity underground by a killer after the school bus driver was killed? Strange did have one of his underlings call.
However, Alabama Governor Robert Bentley did PERSONALLY call and talk to Dale County officials and Alabama Governor Robert Bentley did PERSONALLY send 2 ( TWO ) representatives to Dale County to assist. But the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of this state, Luther Strange, was never seen or heard from.
His Enterprise speech as a candidate...he would be here often and face issues. He would talk to anybody.
His talk then and walk now, they are not the same!!!
