Candlelight Vigil for Fallen Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Deputy Bill Myers

NICEVILLE, Fla. – A community candlelight vigil honoring Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Bill Myers will be held on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. on the Niceville Campus of Northwest Florida State College. The ceremony will also serve as an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the service of all law enforcement officers and first responders. Representatives from public safety agencies throughout the local area are expected to attend.


The public is invited to the event, which is sponsored by the NWF State College Public Safety Department. The vigil will be held at the site of the college’s planned new public safety memorial in front of Building 510.
