Carmike Cinemas in Dothan Are Making Sure You Are Safe

Carmike Cinema, Dothan, AL: Tonight, as I wa sitting in the Carmike Cinema 12 Movie Theater, I saw an employee go to the exit door in theater number 7 before the movie started to make sure the EXIT door was shut and secure and was not cracked. For some of you, you may ask, why is he posting this? Well, I am posting this because the recent movie theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado had a cracked EXIT door in the theater. It is reported the subject cracked the EXIT door before the movie started. The subject then went to his vehicle and got his weapons. The subject then opened the door he left cracked and began shooting.

 

Tonight, an employee at Carmike Cinema made sure the door was secure before the movie started. This goes to show that Carmike Cinema 12 in Dothan is taking extra security measures to make sure you can enjoy your movie without having to worry that someone is going to come through that door. It also helps to have Dothan Police Officers at the theater at all times. Every time I go to Carmike Cinemas in Dothan, you can expect to see a Dothan Police Officer at the movie theater.
